About Tressa
Born and raised in Chicago, IL and now a resident of Houston, TX where she started stand up in 2014.  Her unique style of witty, intelligent, funny stories combined with making fun of musical LYRICS has made Tressa one of the hottest new comics to watch for. Tressa draws material from "call center life", "hair stylist life", motherhood, marriage, and dating while also becoming Vegan in her 40's. 

She branded the term, "Vegan Thick" when deciding to become vegan while maintaining her curvaceous figure. Her choice for the vegan lifestyle is attributed to learning how meat and dairy increases the risk of diabetes and other illnesses. She educates via social media as a tribute to her family members lost to diabetes who just didn't have the knowledge we have today. Her goal is to help the masses rid themselves of diabetes and other diseases through weekly inspirational videos and vegan tips .

Her televison appearances include UHN's Live, Laugh, Love Comedy Show Episodes 1 and 5.  She featured in Houston's 1st All Female Comedy Festival, Yellow Rose for Olivia Arrington. Tressa is currently the Executive Producer of The Roxxy Haze Comedy Sketch Show, a web series now in Season 2 airing on YouTube every Friday and the host and Co- Producer of Lady Bits, a monthly stand up comedy showcase of female comics at The Secret Group in Houston, TX.
